Driven by Science – Built for Business

To meet the growing global demand for farmed fish, land-based aquaculture must be scaled further — requiring solutions that support profitability while meeting increasingly strict environmental standards.

Our Approach

We believe that production systems can be designed more efficiently and with greater simplicity than current approaches. Technology should be purpose-built to support production performance rather than technology-driven complexity. A simplified system architecture enables a high level of automation, improves operational reliability, and significantly reduces technical and operational risk.

Paras Precision HFS uses only slightly more water than full Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS), while consuming significantly less than other hybrid flow-through solutions on the market. Enabled by patented technology, the system achieves up to 96% water reuse without the need for a biofilter or purging. This delivers a new level of control and water reuse intensity compared to conventional hybrid flow-through systems.

Streamlined Technology for High Profitability

By optimizing the use of production resources, our technology significantly reduces CAPEX and OPEX, making land-based aquaculture both viable and competitive.

Economical Facility Implementation

One of the defining characteristics of Paras technology is its modular structure. This approach allows for fast start-up, flexible scaling, and efficient use of both capital and space. The system reaches full operational capacity immediately upon installation, and production can be expanded effortlessly by adding new modules or extending existing tank lines as needed.

The efficiency of the system is based on its components — fewer are required, but they are of exceptionally high quality. This allows for maximum utilization of the available space.

Managing and Optimizing Operating Costs

Paras technology increases production by reducing production stages and optimizing daily operating costs. The system requires less water and, consequently, less energy, as heating or cooling a smaller water volume is far less demanding than controlling temperature in an open-flow facility. At the same time, automated functions streamline operations.

An intelligent water quality and temperature control system, automatic feeding and solids collection, as well as simplified management and maintenance with fewer spare parts, all contribute to efficient, reliable, and cost-effective production.

Fish Welfare as a Business Advantage

The Paras Precision Hybrid Flow-through System is built on technology where fish welfare is at the core—the foundation of long-term economic success in aquaculture.

Experiments have shown that our method supports fish health and quality, resulting in strong growth, low mortality, excellent feed conversion ratios, and premium appearance and taste. Paras Precision HFS technology enables the use of even fewer resources while delivering higher-quality and more healthy fish, significantly improving overall farm efficiency.
